Ellen is guided by the belief that mindful and disciplined movement helps us live with ease in our bodies, cultivate equanimity and find freedom from pain and limitations.

She discovered Pilates in 2011, after teaching yoga since 2007. Appreciating the complementary nature of both disciplines, she trained and became certified in 2013 at Vitality Pilates in Seattle. She has continued her education in the Stott method, and completed the Injuries and Special Populations course and Total Barre.

Ellen is constantly seeking new ways to help people move more efficiently, creatively and therapeutically; and attain optimal mobility and alignment through body awareness.

When not in a studio, Ellen enjoys hiking, pickleball, meditation and creating healthy dishes.
