Hello! I'm Kelsey and I help individuals feel at peace with their food journey while bringing their bodies back into a state of optimal health so that they can get back to the activities that mean the most to them. Adopting a healthy diet should be approachable and allow freedom in your food choices that nourish your body and bring clarity to the mind. My personal journey reflects a desire for control through extreme measures. A pendulum of excess versus restriction. It was through navigating these extremes that I decided to study nutrition in hopes of helping others successfully do the same. I am familiar with the constant emotional and physical battle that many face with food.  The role that food plays in our lives should not hinder us, but liberate us as the most nourishing form of medicine.

I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Nutrition from Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA. Following my degree I began working for an established Seattle naturopathic doctor, utilizing my nutrition education in a primary care setting. Then in 2016 I pursued further certification as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner through the Nutritional Therapy Association in Olympia, WA. I am trained in nutritional assessment and hands-on functional evaluation to determine nutritional status and deficiencies. As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner I do not diagnose or treat disease, but instead make nutritional recommendations for balancing the body and promoting optimal wellness.

We are thrilled to have Kelsey on our team as our in-house wellness coach! In addition to providing 1x1 nutritional coaching sessions, Kelsey also leads our monthly nutritional meetup, Kegels & Kale.
